2018 HOPE...It's a Beach Thing Event

What a day! Despite the rain and windy conditions, the 7th Annual Hope...It's a Beach Thing fundraiser was an uplifting, fun-filled day! We still had ~350 brain tumor warriors show up and take part in the 5K and/or join us at the after party at Warped $67,000 (profit, folks!) for brain tumor research!

Through our partnership with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Jimmy Fund, we donated this $67,000 directly to Dr. David Reardon's brain tumor research efforts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Thank you again for your generosity, that's $377,000 donated over 7 years!

We're so excited to continuing growing this event and seeing you all next year! Until then, join our Facebook group here and sign up for email updates in the website footer!

HOPE and Love,

The Beach Family and Dr. David Reardon

The Weckstein Family

It was an honor to dedicate this year's HOPE event to this amazing family. Dan Weckstein was diagnosed in June 2015 with GBM and we mourn his passing in August of this year.

True GMB warriors, Dan along with his wife Kellie and their children, Collin and Casey, faced this deadly cancer with amazing strength, resilience and genuinely positive, loving attitudes.

Dan's courageous wife, Kellie, and his beautiful children, helped Team DWeck raise over $6,000 and recruit 41 team members to join the 5K event.

Collin and Casey led the way, raising $3,312.36 for their team during a half-day school fundraising event.

We're inspired by this remarkable family who we've had the pleasure to connect with over the last several years. Our love and prayers are with all of you.
